It's noisier than I was expecting so I'm somewhat disappointed. Also can't find the correct replacement air filter size at Home Depot or Lowe's. Had to order them online.

We got this new American Standard system installed and right away noticed a difference in our utility bills. Has a few minor problems with the contractor and getting the job finished but overall we're happy with our American Standard system.

We are not happy with the 13 seer that replaced our old 10 seer. we live in Michigan and the unit didn't work when the night temp fell to 60 or below, it froze up the line outside. There is a new limit switch to keep this big 'effecient' model from overheating that shuts fan off and keeps condenser running. It still shuts fan off at 90 degrees outside and wont let the house reach temp! Not happy! smilies/angry.gif
