Do not buy a janitrol! I have only been in my home for 2.5 years and have already spent more than 1k to repair my ac unit. This summer there are 3 valves that are cracked and that may or may not fix the leaks and the freezing up. The labor alone would cost at least 800-1200 and more depending on what is found when the work begins. I am simply going to replace the unit.

My previous house also had a janitrol and had the SAME problems!
