American Standard manufacturers air handlers for heating and air conditioning applications. American Standard produces air handlers for both air conditioning and heat pump systems along with a full line of gas furnaces. American Standard air handlers can be configured with direct drive multi speed blower motors or they can be configured with direct drive variable speed blower motors. Variable speed blower motors are for higher efficiency air handlers and offer soft start ramp up and ramp down blowers.
