Bryant Heat Pumps


Bryant offers heat pumps with efficencies to 9.0 HSPF and 18 SEER for their top of the line heat pump systems. The bryant Eovlution Series offers a two-stage compressor which allows the heat pump to achieve higher efficiencies and when coupled with their variable speed air handler blowers bryant offers a good top of the line heat pump that will give you many years of comfort. Bryant is owned by the same corporation that owns Carrier and their systems are similar. Bryant offers the typical HVAC industry warranties on all their systems with better warranties for the high efficiency systems and other extended warranties are available for a an additional fee.

It's 3 years old and has broken down twice. The first year it worked fine then the second year, the internal crankcase heater went out in it and they replaced it with an external heater. Now a year later the compressor has gone out in it. and they say it will take 7 to 15 days to get a compressor. I wouldn't recommend this brand.

Bryant makes a good heat pump. Had a small problem with the contractor but a phone call took care of it.
