Ducane offers heat pumps from 13 SEER up to 15 SEER* (*depending on the indoor unit) from 1 1/2 to 4 tons. Features of Ducane heat pumps are copper coils with aluminum fins, optional special louvered coil guard protection, field adjustable time/temperature defrost settings, permanently lubricated condenser fan motor, hinged control panel for easy access, angled service valves for easy access, bi-flow filter drier for unit protection, and a quiet durable compressor. Ducane offers HVAC industry standard warranties.

Never had any problems with my heat pump. It has never had any broken parts I had to repair. It is always reliable and keeps me both cold and hot. I have seen on here other reviews from different sites that there is alot of issues with Ducane. I can honestly say I believe it has alot to do with the installer. My installer was great and my only problem is that I sometimes freeze in my house I have to turn the air up too 78 degrees to kick it off....lol Thxs alot hope this helps some ppl that may be skeptical of Ducane. Get a good installer

This unit has failed every summer since installation. Purchased a 10 yr parts and labor warranty which the company now refuses to honor under "new" ownership. Luckily my contractor is honoring it out of his own pocket. The fan has torn the thin sheet metal which holds it and come loose 3 times requiring replacement of the fan and motor. Ducane needed 10 days to ship a replacement motor while local temps were in the 110+ range. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dishonest and disreputable company and choose another brand. Talk to your neighbors. Don't flush your money down the Ducane toilet.
