Ruuds line of package unit products include the Ruud Heat Pump Package Unit, The Ruud Gas - Electric package Unit - and the Ruud Dual Fual package unit that combines a heat pump with a gas furnace to provide efficient heating and cooling in one package. Features of Ruud package units include R-410A refrigerant option, scroll compressors, durable cabinet with louvered condenser compartment for protection of the condenser coils, fan mount offers protection of fan from the elements, inshot burners with electronic ignition for models that include gas furnace capability, and a tubular heat exchanger with a limited lifetime warranty in gas furnace models.

I bought this house new with the Ruud system installed new by the builder. I've had the service company out 3 times since I moved in to repair it. When I get a chance to replace it I'm going with another brand. I vote Ruud down.
