They typical industry standard warranties comes with a new package unit system and York offers extended warranties for an additional fee when new package unit systems are purchased.

We've had this York package unit heat pump for almost a year and she purrs like a kitten. No problems at all and i recommend it.

Got this unit installed last year and it stopped cooling. I called the contractor and they checked it and filled it up. A few months later it stopped cooling again and I called them back. Same thing. I asked the technician if found the leak and he said he couldn't find one. He filled it up and it worked again. Same thing a few months later so I call a different contractor. This technician told me he found the leak in the valve where they put the freon. After all this I have no confidence in York when one of my neighbors say its the best thing since sliced bread.
